The NX-1175 released early January of 2018 and was pretty much under the radar to press announcements. There’s a been a big up-take in the RoBo / Edge computing areas where small form factor and minimal compute requirements need addressing and the NX-1175 fits the bill nicely. Unlike other models the NX-1175 can be deployed in 1 and 2 node quantity as previously announced at the .Next User Conference in June 2017 and subsequent .Next on Tour events.
Just to add a little more clarification too about this model. It’s specifically targeted toward the Remote Branch Office (RoBo) / Edge use cases where corporate offices have the large Nutanix footprint. It’s not intended for small business looking for one-off single standalone node implementations.
